Down 7 pounds, walking everyday and running, But I'm fighting through it! Managers need to first walk when coaching and you don't need to be fat to do it - I'm just using my fat as a metaphor and hopefully a little humor. Coaching and walking requires a number of attributes:

    • Good pace
    • Consistent focus on Effort (yourself and your employee)
    • Self-talk to coach yourself
    • Create and hold a vision of results understanding you won't get there by tomorrow, thus a consistent and continuous positive approach is required.
    • Have fun ... yes I use my weight sometimes for jokes but also to humor myself knowing I need to be in it for the long haul.

Coaching is about asking questions. Coaching is about positive reinforcement when effort is made. Coaching is about a focus on results knowing effort and progress will lead to such desired results.

My weight loss is about all of the above and some jokes to myself as I fight cellulite cramping. Gosh I hope this gets easier!

    Have a Good Weekend
