    How to Rise Above Sales Turmoil

    No stranger to complications and obstacles, sales, by it’s very nature, is a difficult profession. There is no rest for the weary in this notoriously ruthless industry. 

    As a sales leader, you are the first line of defense when turmoil breaks out. As this go-to person you have the privilege of being a playmaker, peace keeper, problem avoider, problem adverted, morale booster, talent recruiter, talent maker, czar of organization, document/contract extraordinaire…let just say you wear many hats. Given the unforgiving nature of the present economic state, pressures within the sales industry are greater than ever.

    Sales teams are in turmoil over many new and existing industry complications, such as:

    • Decease in sales revenues
    • Cut or lose of team members
    • Cut in marketing budget
    • Decrease of resources
    • Increase in workload

    So, save the drama for your mama! No, we don’t really mean that. The truth is, sales turmoil is more of a welcome-to-the-club problem than it is an exclusive-members-only problem. The economy was really terrible and now its just bad but we are all experiencing the same struggles and the same obstacles. So, with the wisdom filled words of our mama’s, “there is no use crying over spilled milk,” so let’s move on from the problem and into the solution.
