All of us are not successful or willing to change until we make the DECISION! What is the DECISION? It's the sincere commitment to changing and / or getting better! We can coach and motivate and inspire, BUT ... if an employees does NOT wish to TRULY change, our efforts are not lost rather they have not prompted the employee to make the decision. Without the decision ... coaching is part of the process to making the decision and we cannot solely hold ourselves accountable; whereas, we have the tough decision to continue to coach or give up. My suggestion, exhaust all effort and available time. At least the employee can never blame us and we show great leadership to other surrounding employees.
