Employees were than asked to document via an email diary their emotions and feelings as it related to motivation and 76% reported PROGRESS was the number one attribute that motivated them. This is huge because it brings up the disconnect between employee motivation and leader’s ability to drive effort and facilitate doses of “progress” that truly motivate.
